Immigration Psychological Evaluations for Political Asylum
Asylum may be an option if going back to your native country would be dangerous for you.
A foreigner may apply for political asylum in the United States if they have experienced or fear they will face persecution in their country of origin due to race, religion, nationality, political opinion, or membership to a particular social group.
Our experienced licensed psychologists offer asylum seekers psychological evaluations.
Based in Miami, Florida, our team has extensive training in cross cultural psychology and they have worked with clients from a variety of cultural and ethnic backgrounds over the years. They offer these asylum evaluations in both English and Spanish.
Our comprehensive asylum evaluations identify circumstances surrounding persecution, emotional distress, and any relevant mental health conditions (e.g. Major Depression, PTSD, Panic Attacks, Generalized Anxiety, etc.) that may have arisen as a result of past persecution and/or fear of persecution if returned to the country of origin. Our reports also explore the current social and political climates of the country from which asylum is sought.
